Many of the birds we rescue will unfortunately never be able to return to the wild. This is due to either serious permanent injuries and/or human imprinting. Human imprinting will (in general) lead to a bird losing its natural instincts to find food, stay safe from predators, and survive in the wild. We are dedicated to providing a “forever home” for the birds that will not be able to survive without us.
